Nice salmon, rockfish, and lings today

We started with salmon today and they were biting right where we left them yesterday. They bit good for the first 1/2 then we had a steady pick after that. We had several lost, a few short kings, some missed bites and one lost to a sea lion. We stopped with 6 for the 4 guys as they wanted to pull on some lings and fill the freezers with blacks. They blacks were easy to load up on and the lings came on strong to end us with limits of them also. We planned on dropping in and getting the last couple salmon we needed but with a building ocean and bar crossing that could get snotty if we waited too long we opted to play it safe and head for the barn. We’ll see where we end up tomorrow but it should be another great day on the ocean where ever we go.
