After an awful day yesterday with only shakers and no shows we found some biters for the morning and afternoon trip today. Fish averaged about 10-11 lbs and were biting the same 180-200 ft on the downriggers. We had 5 limits for the 5 morning guys and had 1 short of limits for the afternoon crew of 6 guys. Plenty of opportunities but the wind had us loosin a few that should have been boated. Back to the hotspot in the morning. I may still put together a Saturday afternoon trip if there is enough interest. Booked up for my stay in the bay area April opener but now booking trips out of Eureka for the season. Looks like salmon opens May 10th in the homeport!
