A couple halis, some rain, and a nice ocean

We stuck with it today and got 2 halibut at 20 and 26 lbs for the bachelor party today. Several bites that just did not materialize again and a lot of petrale and other”junk” fish biting up the baits to keep the rod tips moving. We started with a heavy drizzle, some rain, and ended up with a nice calm ocean then a bit of south breeze for the ride in. Tomorrow we will be looking for halibut and topping off the fish box with lingcod and rockfish at the cape. Salmon opens Monday. Marc 707-601-3474
