Today was the first trip on the new boat and what a day it was. I ran with 6 of my good friends for the shakedown trip and we found the fish biting. We picked up 4 in front of Santa Cruz and then ran toward Moss Landing to finish up with our other 10 fish. We ended up with 14 nice salmon from 8-18 lbs and finished up and ran back to port before the expected wind picked up. The boat did great and the fish played nice. I’ll be back out in the morning with another 6 guys. I still have space for an open trip on Monday and Friday so call if you want to get in on some of this limit style action. The weather is supposed to 
get better and better for the next few days.
