Fishing our way through summer!

We have been rolling through summer fishing everyday we can and even though this season has kept us working we have something nice to show for our efforts everyday. The salmon continues to be up and down with no consistency but the ground fish are making up for no steady salmon bite. We still expect those 3 year old Klamath fish to make an appearance in aug and hopefully get a good run on them. The Pacific halibut fishing has just been outstanding since it opened in May and with quite a bit quota left it looks like we will be able to fish for them through the aug 1-15th opener. Last week we had many halibut hit the deck topped by an 82.5 lbs toad. The Cali halis are still a great option for the bay trips and we have been getting everyone their blackrockfish limits on the bay trips also. People are taking home a nice stack of fresh fish and no one has to think about getting seasick. Rockfishing has been great as usual with more big reds showing every trip than most years and the grade on the lings has been great also. Tuna water has arrived and it has albacore in it, I will start running offshore trips in aug, maybe one or two before then if weather allows. I have  quite a bit of room for August for those that want to get out this summer still. Just give me a ring and we will get it set up.
